Wow, has it been THAT long since my last post?? Sorry y'all, but I just forgot all about my blog until April mentioned it the other day....then I forgot again..LOL

Well, Vegas is the answer right now....7 more days until we fly away to heaven, otherwise knows as Vegas....I can't wait...it will be SO fun to go back there!!

Otherwise, work is good and Kansas is good and I miss all you guys and chat when you can!! HOPEFULLY, yeah right, I will be ablke to remember to keep this thing updated a bit more!

Ok, I know it has been WAY too long since I posted. Honestly, I forgot all about my blog since I had gotten back to work and we got our new computer at home.

Life has been up and down. Work is awesome and I love this company. I have been really worried about April, as she has been fighting pain and tummy troubles and had a long extended stay in the hospital because of it. I love her SO much and worry when i can't take care of her and make her feel better!

Well, finally, after all the hell of job hunting I FINALLY got offered a j\ob yesterday with the place I wanted. I interviewed about 3 weeks ago, right after we got into town and they have been delaying things, but finally they offered a job. I am SO excited and relieved. I want to thank April for ALL her support during this time. She is truly my angel and I love her SO much...

So we both start our new jobs on Monday and I can;t be happier!!! Awesome awesome awesome!!!

Ok, that's it for now....I will keep you posted as our furniture might FINALLY be here today so if that happens all will be right with the world!!!

Feeling better

Well, this yucky cold is finally feeling better and I am SO glad to see it go. I hate being sick so I am glad I am finally feeling better!

Not much else goin gon right now. Still waiting to hear back on the interview I went on the week before last, but the parties involved at that company have been out of the office so I am keeping fingers crossed I hear something tomorrow. I am also waiting to hear back from the employment agency as they haven't had much for me yet either. Then I have Monster and Careerbuilder as I need to get a job. It's a bit frustrating to be without a job..

Well, I have my first Kansas cold...I am hoping they are just allergies but I feel a bit tired and achey so I think it might be a cold. Oh well, so is life!!!

Otherwise, things are going good. Went to watch April's cousin Valerie play in her pool league that I am going to join next season. That was fun. I am enjoying pool more and more and am looking forward to playing in the league.

Hello everyone....hope all are having a great New Year so far...Mine is going well......but it's F*CKing cold.....We had a big ice storm last night and today and now we have snow on the ground, covering the ice...with frozen trees and grass..I have never seen that before so it;s a trip!!!

So far, things are going slow.....waiting to hear back on jobs with a temp agency AND with an interview I had on last Thursday. I heard today that I am a finalist for the job and should hear something next week...so I am keeping fingers crossed.....

Otherwise, just waiting for our furniture to make it here....right now we are surviving with a new recliner from QVC, an inflatable mattress from Walmart and a TV..Thankfully they got us cable so that is a good thing......our new computer is coming tomorrow and then our bed is due on Monday and hopefully our furniture will be here on Monday......and then we can get settled and move on with things....

Well, our move has hit a small snag.....the movers, who were SUPPOSED to be here between 8am and 10am....then when they call to confirm, they say between 9am and 11am...NOW, they call and say,,Oh one of our trucks broke down, can we get you tomorrow..? HELLLL NOOOOOO

So now they are supposed to be here by lunchtime, and it;s lunch time and they aren't here yet....VERY frustrating....

Just a quick note to wish you all a VERY Merry christmas. Hope Santa gave you everything you wished for!!

Also, in two days, the big move happens. We are heading to Kansas on Monday morning as soon as the movers pick up our bulk stuff. SO everyone think good thoughts and we will keep you all updated when we can!! We figure 3 days and we are back home in Kansas and should be AWESOME!!!

What a great Pyro night

It was another great show last night, getting to see Pyro one more time before we head to Kansas.....and especially getting to see all of my friends.....

It was great to see everyone and get the chance to say our goodbyes for now as we plan to be back for shows in the future for visits and such. The band played great and sounded awesome and it was so col just to hang out with the old Pyro crew one more time....

We will be back and there WILL be a next time for that FOR SURE!!!

Ok, just about a week until our move and we are packing....actually April has done a lot of the packing...I am a procrastonator(?) on those kind of things, so April is a God send for sure..April's mom is here and she is always fun to be around and I can't wait to be back in Kansas and spend time with her and everyone else back there....

Gone for a while

April is going to be gone for work, and with her will be here computer. Our home computer has taken a dump so my time on here will be limited this week. I will try to check it at the library and keep up, but if not, have a GREAT week and keep in touch via email!

I am not used to the blog thing, so sorry for the break yesterday.

Not much going on, just hanging out with my sweetie, having a great week and weekend. Got to go to my dad's on Thursday and play poker..LOVE playing poker. My dad and his friends have played poker on Thursday nights for 25-30 years. It's fun and just a blast!

Hmmm, what else is going on?? Not much right now. Just enjoying the time with April and enjoying the warm weather. It's going to be 75 today and warmer tomorrow.....Not really Christmas weather huh???

Well, here we go again. I am excited that I have new posters on my blog and I thank you. I know it will take some time for me to get in the flow of things and I thank those who have linked me to their blogs.

Not too much going on today. Going to my dad's house to play poker tonight and just waiting to hear back from a local company about a job.

Well, after watching april have lots of fun with her blog, I figured I would give this a try. Thank you to anyone who visits and I will try to make things interesting.

Right now, I am waiting to hear back on getting a new job locally until we move back to Kansas at the end of the month. I am excited to get moved back closer to April's family. They are an ABSOLUTE HOOT! They are fun and just a bang to hang out with and it will be good for me to get back there.
